Allied Universal is seeking Security Professional - Access Control in North York, ON.   

Title: Security Professional - Access Control

Type: Full Time 

Location: North York, ON 

Payrate: $23.01.00 / hour 

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 07:00AM to 07:00PM 

Overview: 

Allied Universal is currently hiring experienced Security Professional - Access Control  for our operations in North York, ON. The ideal candidate will be a skilled and responsible professional with strong communication abilities and a willingness to work from various locations in North York, Markham & Etobicoke . This role also requires overseeing transportation needs, including driving a company vehicle between various site locations. The candidate should be comfortable handling logistics, ensuring the safe transport of materials or personnel, and maintaining security while on the move. Key Responsibilities:

• Willingness to work from various locations in North York, Markham & Etobicoke
• Oversee operations within a data center environment, ensuring smooth day-to-day functions.
• Ensure the safe transport of materials and personnel while maintaining strict security standards during transit.
• Take charge of security-related duties on-site as needed, maintaining a secure and safe environment.
• Communicate professionally with staff, including site management and security teams
• Handle security incidents and emergencies calmly and efficiently
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth shift transitions and consistent security coverage
• Conduct regular patrols and site inspections to maintain security standards

Requirements: 

• Willingness to work from various locations in North York, Markham & Etobicoke
• High school diploma or equivalent/GED or equivalent work experience.
• Must have 1-2 years of experience in Mobile and Corporate Office Building. 
• Must be 25 years of age or older due to company vehicle insurance requirements.
• Valid (G) Licence (Ontario), with a clean drivers abstract. 
• Eligible to work in Canada for 40 hours a week, due to shift requirements. 
• Must have 5 + years of residency in Canada to obtain site specific security clearance.
• Must have a valid Ontario Security License. 
• First Aid/Cpr certification.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and use of computers.
• Ability to drive in all weather conditions, as patrols are required using company vehicles.
• Physically capable of standing or walking for long periods, climbing stairs, and occasionally lifting or carrying up to 15 kilograms.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
