Job Description

 

Security Account Manager – Corporate 

Location: Vancouver, British Columbia 

Job Type: Full Time, Permanent  

Shift: Monday to Friday, 0800 - 1600  

Pay Rate: $96,600 per year 

 

Position Overview 

Allied Universal is seeking an experienced Security Account Manager to lead a high-profile corporate security program in Vancouver. This role is ideal for a proven security leader with experience managing corporate, technology, commercial, or other complex security environments. 

The successful candidate will oversee security operations across multiple client locations, providing leadership to security teams while ensuring the delivery of safe, compliant, and exceptional security services. This position will serve as a trusted security partner to client leadership, supporting physical security operations, access control, incident management, risk mitigation, and continuous improvement initiatives. 

 

Key Responsibilities 

  • Lead and manage the client’s corporate security program, ensuring operational excellence, compliance, and alignment with client objectives. 
  • Oversee security operations across multiple locations, including contract security personnel, supervisors, and service delivery standards. 
  • Develop, implement, and maintain security procedures, post orders, emergency response plans, and operational standards. 
  • Manage physical security operations, including access control, visitor management, incident reporting, and security technology platforms. 
  • Monitor performance metrics, conduct operational reviews, and ensure contractual obligations and KPIs are consistently achieved. 
  • Lead incident response, investigations, emergency preparedness, and workplace safety initiatives. 
  • Provide leadership, coaching, training support, and performance oversight for security teams. 
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with client leadership, internal stakeholders, and security partners through regular communication and reporting. 
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements, technology enhancements, and risk reduction strategies. 

 

Qualifications 

  • Minimum 7 years of progressive experience in corporate security, physical security, risk management, emergency management, law enforcement, military, or related fields. 
  • Demonstrated experience managing security programs within complex, multi-site organizations. 
  • Proven ability to lead security teams, manage vendors, and deliver high-quality security services. 
  • Strong knowledge of access control systems, video surveillance, incident management, investigations, and emergency response. 
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills with the ability to engage senior client stakeholders. 
  • Valid British Columbia Security Worker Licence (or ability to obtain/maintain as required). 
  • Valid driver’s licence with a satisfactory driving record. 
  • Post-secondary education in Security Management, Criminal Justice, Business Administration, Emergency Management, or a related field is preferred. 
  • Professional certifications such as CPP, PSP, or equivalent are considered an asset. 
  • Experience supporting technology, media, or high-profile corporate environments is highly desirable.
