Allied Universal is seeking Security Site Supervisor in Ajax, Ontario.

Location: Ajax, ON
Type: Full Time
Pay Rate: $23.00 - 24.00 per hour
Shifts: Monday - Friday

Shift Timing: 0800-1600

Overview:
We are currently seeking experienced and qualified Security Site Supervisor to join our team in a dynamic environment. As a Security Site Supervisor you will play a key leadership role in ensuring the safety of personnel, property, and assets through patrols, monitoring, and incident response. This position offers a dynamic work environment with opportunities for growth and advancement.


RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Supervise daily security operations and act as primary liaison between client and management, ensuring compliance with all procedures and post orders.
- Lead, coach, and support security staff, including scheduling, training, and on-the-floor guidance.
- Enforce access control protocols, including screening staff, contractors, and visitors.
- Conduct and oversee patrols to identify risks, hazards, and suspicious activity.
- Monitor CCTV, alarm systems, and access control systems to detect and address security concerns.
- Respond to incidents and emergencies, providing direction to staff and coordinating with emergency services as needed.
- Assess situations, make real-time decisions, and implement effective risk mitigation strategies.
- Deter theft and loss through proactive supervision and enforcement of security procedures.
- Complete detailed incident reports and ensure accurate documentation and log maintenance.

REQUIREMENTS:

- Must have a valid Ontario Security License.
- Must be at least 18 years old.

- High school diploma or equivalent/GED or equivalent work experience.
- Must be eligible to work in Canada up to 40 hours a week.
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- First Aid and CPR.
- 1-2 years of experience working in security.

- 5+ years experience as a Site Supervisor, managing miniumum 10 employees
- Preferably ex-military or loss preventation to high-theft locations
- Previous experience in logistics environments and/or operating metal detectors preferred.
- Experience in critical environments where decision making, and actions can impact life-safety and business continuity.
- Excellent administrative and computer skills are a must, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and security management software.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
