Shifts: Morning - Monday to Thursday - 0800 - 1800
Overview:
Allied Universal is currently seeking a Site Security Supervisor - Full Time to support daily site operations through schedule management, front desk access control, and active patrol oversight. This role is responsible for ensuring the site is properly staffed, maintaining strong visibility throughout the property, and supporting a safe and professional environment for staff, visitors, and clients.
The Security Supervisor plays a critical role in the success of day-to-day operations by leading security personnel, monitoring site activity, addressing incidents in a timely manner, and ensuring all post duties are completed to standard. As a leader on site, the Security Supervisor must demonstrate professionalism, accountability, strong communication, and sound judgment at all times.
Specific Duties Performed and Essential Functions :
• Manage the site schedule, including shift coverage, staffing adjustments, call-offs, and coordination of relief coverage as required.
• Provide direct supervision and guidance to security personnel to ensure all site procedures, post orders, and client expectations are followed.
• Conduct regular and random interior and exterior patrols of the site and perimeter to maintain visibility and identify security or safety concerns.
• Perform front desk access control duties, including greeting visitors, monitoring entry and exit activity, issuing badges, and ensuring sign-in procedures are followed.
• Monitor alarms, cameras, and other security systems, and respond appropriately to incidents, emergencies, and unusual activity.
• Maintain accurate records of visitor access, temporary badges, daily activity logs, incident reports, and other required site documentation.
• Ensure all temporary and visitor badges are properly issued, tracked, collected, and reconciled.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, professional, and problem-solving manner.
• Support site communications by submitting clear daily reports outlining incidents, staffing concerns, operational updates, and any security-related observations.
• Liaise with site leadership, corporate services, and internal management to support operational needs and service delivery.
• Ensure doors, access points, and other security-related equipment remain secure and in proper working condition.
• Promote strong customer service by interacting professionally with employees, visitors, contractors, and clients.
Requirement:
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum three (3) to four (4) years of security experience, including previous supervisory or leadership experience.
• Strong understanding of scheduling, access control, patrol procedures, incident response, and site operations.
• Proven ability to lead a team, resolve issues professionally, and maintain a high standard of accountability.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with employees, visitors, clients, and management.
• Strong organizational and administrative skills, with the ability to manage reports, logs, schedules, and operational records accurately.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and experience using access control, video monitoring, and other security-related systems is an asset.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while remaining calm, professional, and solution-oriented.
