Job Description

Allied Universal is seeking Operations Support Officer (OSO) in Mississauga, ON.   

  

Job Title: Operations Support Officer (OSO)

Type: Full Time

Location: Mississauga, ON

Payrate: $20.00/hour to $21.34/hour 

Schedule: Tues-Fri 0000-0800, Sun 0800-2000

 

 

Overview: 

Allied Universal is currently seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Operations Support Officer (OSO) Security Professional to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for administering a high volume of physical security access badge requests and ensuring timely, accurate, and professional service. The OSO will manage badge provisioning, inventory, and access-related concerns across multiple sites, all while maintaining a high level of customer service and operational efficiency. Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer and process physical security access badge requests, including provisions for new, replacement, and other types of access requests for Business Units, Contractors, and Vendors across various sites.
  • Manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

  • Complete required documentation with due diligence, ensuring all information is accurate and processed promptly.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external partners, addressing any questions or concerns regarding access-related issues.

  • Manage inventory and procurement of access badges and card printer supplies.

  • Investigate, resolve, and escalate access-related issues or concerns in a timely manner.

  • Communicate professionally with staff, including site management and security teams
  • Handle security incidents and emergencies calmly and efficiently

 

Requirements: 

  • High school diploma or equivalent/GED or equivalent work experience.
  • Must have 1-2 years of experience in Corporate Office Building. 
  • Eligible to work in Canada for 40 hours a week, due to shift requirements. 
  • Must have a valid Ontario Security License. 
  • First Aid/Cpr certification.
  • Proficiency with software applications and systems, such as Honeywell System and CCURE 9000, is preferred but not essential.
  • Strong organizational and administrative skills, with the ability to track data, manage files, and prioritize tasks effectively.

  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for efficient interaction with colleagues and external partners.

  • Flexibility to adapt to changing work priorities and business needs.
