Allied Universal is hiring for GSOC Operator - French/English Bilingual .

Job Title: GSOC Operator - French/English Bilingual

Location: Downtown Toronto

Department: Global Security Operations Centre

Reports To: GSOC Team Lead and GSOC Operations Manager

Pay Rate: $30.00 per hour with incremental increases based on tenure, performance and completion of courses.

Job Type: Full-Time 

Shift: 0700hrs-1900hrs/ 1900hrs - 0700hrs (84 Hours Biweekly) – Continental – 7 week rotation

All hours are in office, there are no remote hours for this position.

 

Overview
Previous experience in Physical Security is not needed to apply to this position. We’re looking for a diverse group of people to join the team as Global Security Operations Centre Operators. The ideal candidate should have an eye for detail, be self-motivated, and be an effective communicator who is capable of working in a fast-paced team environment. Our team is stronger when we have people with a wide range of skills and experiences. Do you have experience in a call centre, composing communications, or enjoy working with a team? The Global Security Operations Centre (GSOC) is the 24/7 intake and triage for physical security occurrences at client's site.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with internal team members, adjacent teams, and external partners
  • Strong leader who owns their work and has an eye for continuous improvement
  • Working in a 24/7 environment with rotating shifts in office (no remote work)
  • Remote monitoring and triage of physical security occurrences, including vandalism, vagrancy, and intrusion alarms
  • Being adaptable in the face of changing business needs

  • Focused on continuously improving both the program, the team members you work with and yourself

Qualifications

  • Bilingual (French/English) is required.
  • Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and inspire others.
  • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) is required.
