Position: Security Guard - Concierge - White Glove

Location: Yorkville, ON

Pay-rate: $26.85 per hour

Status: Full-time 

Shift: Swing / Rotational Shifts | Days, Evenings, Overnights | Various Time

Overview:

Allied Universal is seeking an experienced Security Guard - Concierge - White Glove to oversee one of our residential sites in Yorkville, ON. The ideal candidate is a seasoned individual with at least 2 years of residential high-end experience, excellent communication skills, willing to work night shifts, and able to work with a dynamic security team. If you have experience in residential security, and can maintain a high level of professionalism, we'd like to hear from you.

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years’ Experience in Concierge Security Experience.
• Excellent customer service and written & oral communication is a must.
• Experience as a Front Desk and Customer Service Officer in hospitality is considered an asset.
• Candidates must maintain a professional appearance and demeanor.
• Proficiency in basic computer skills and wireless technology.
• Must have a valid Ontario Security License.
• Must be eligible to work in Canada up to 40 hours a week.
• Valid First Aid and CPR certificates are a must.
• Valid Driver's Licence is an asset.
• High school diploma or equivalent/GED or equivalent work experience.
• Ability to stand or walk for extended periods, occasionally climb stairs, and lift or carry up to 40 pounds.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct regular patrols of the designated area to monitor and ensure the safety and security of the premises.
• Maintain detailed records of patrols, documenting incidents, irregularities, and any equipment malfunctions.
• Communicate effectively with residents, property management, contractors, and other property staff.
• Maintain a professional attitude toward training and security protocols, including emergency response and communications.
• Address and resolve resident complaints, ensuring total client satisfaction.
• Support property management with any additional tasks as required.
