Allied Universal is seeking Security Guard - Part Time Overnight in Regina, Saskatchewan

 

Job Title: Security Guard - Part Time Overnight

Job Location: Regina, Saskatchewan

Job Type: Part-Time

Pay Rate: $18.87 per hour

Shifts: Friday, Saturday - 2300 to 0700

 

Overview :

 

Allied Universal is seeking experienced Security guard to oversee security operations at our Canadian site in Regina, Saskatchewan

 

 

Requirement:

  • Familiarity with access control systems and alarm monitoring.
  • Experience with report writing and note-taking.
  • Knowledge of CCTV monitoring systems.
  • Must have Security Guard Training Certificate
  • Must be eligible to work in Canada over 24+ hours per week.
  • First Aid and CPR
  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • Must have Valid Provincial Full Driver's License 
  • High school diploma or equivalent/GED or equivalent work experience

 

Specific Duties Performed and Essential Functions :

  • Access control for the facility/area
  • Present a polished, professional, customer friendly image at all times
  • Ensure that the facility’s safety and emergency procedures are followed in response to fire alarms and other site Emergencies
  • Undertake site specific training, follow direction and guidance from Site Supervisor or Manager
  • Demonstrate good judgment, common sense and decision-making ability, particularly when required to take charge and direct others in emergencies or other incidents
  • Meticulous record keeping, report writing, observation skills excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Operate/monitor security room equipment, Completion of site required training
  • Vehicle Gate and Console duties
