Job Description

Allied Universal is seeking Security Guard – Concierge in North York, ON

 

Position: Security Guard - Concierge

Location: North York, ON

Payrate: $17.60 per hour

Status: Full-time 

Shift: Sundays to Saturdays; Swing/Rotational, 4PM-12PM

 

Overview:

 

Allied Universal is seeking an experienced Security Guard – Concierge to oversee one of our residential sites in North York, ON. The ideal candidate is a seasoned individual with excellent communication skills, willing to work various shifts, and able to work with a dynamic security team. If you have experience in residential security, enjoy patrolling, and can maintain a high level of professionalism, we'd like to hear from you.

 

Requirements:

 

  • Must have Residential Concierge Security experience.
  • Must be at least 25 years old and above.
  • Proficiency in basic computer skills and wireless technology.
  • Excellent written and oral communication
  • Must have a valid Ontario Security License.
  • Must be eligible to work in Canada up to 40 hours a week.
  • First Aid and CPR
  • High school diploma or equivalent/GED or equivalent work experience
  • Ability to stand or walk for extended periods, occasionally climb stairs, and lift or carry up to 40 pounds.

 

Responsibilities:

 

  • Perform front desk customer service and handle administrative tasks.
  • Communicate effectively with residents, property management, contractors, and other property staff.
  • Maintain a professional attitude towards training and security protocols, including emergency response and communications.
  • Address and resolve resident complaints, ensuring total client satisfaction.
  • Support property management with any additional tasks as required.
