Title: Gate Security Guard

Location: Suffield Area

Payrate: $20/hr starting, after probation period increasing to $24.11/hr.

Schedule: Casual/Spare 12 hr shifts 0600-1800 or 1800-0600

Overview:

We are looking for a diligent and reliable security guard to join our team. The ideal candidate is someone with excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to ensuring a safe environment.

Requirement:

· Must be living in Canada for minimum of 5 years due to required Government clearance.

· Must have a valid Alberta Security License.

· Must have a valid Class 5 Driver's License and reliable transportation.

· Must be eligible to work in Canada up to 48 hours a week

· Experience with access control systems, alarm monitoring, and CCTV an asset but willing to train the right candidate.

· Exceptional written and oral communication skills.

· Knowledgeable in working with computers.

· Open availability to take any shifts.

· Ability to work alone for up to 12 hours.

· Physically capable of climbing stairs, opening, and closing gates, and occasionally lifting or carrying up to 20 kilograms.

Responsibilities:

· Oversee access control and monitor alarm systems to ensure security.

· Write detailed reports and maintain accurate records.

· Respond quickly to security incidents or emergencies.
