Allied Universal is seeking Security Guard - Corporate in Mississauga, Ontario.  

Job Title: Security Guard - Corporate

Location: Mississauga, ON

Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $18.00 - $19.00 per hour

Shifts: Continental 1900 - 1700

Requirements: 5-Year Residency due to site clearance purposes

Overview :

We are looking for Security Guard - Corporate who is responsible for maintaining a safe, secure, and compliant environment within a high-security financial processing facility. This role focuses on access control, monitoring, incident prevention, and adherence to strict banking and confidentiality standards.

RESPONSIBILITIES :

• Access Control: Monitoring and managing access points to the facility, including the use of access control systems and identification verification.
• Surveillance: Operating and monitoring security systems, such as CCTV systems, to identify potential threats or suspicious activity.
• Patrolling: Conducting regular patrols of the premises (both internal and external) to ensure a safe and secure environment for employees and assets.
• Incident Response: Responding to alarms, security incidents, issues, and emergencies according to established protocols and procedures.
• Reporting: Documenting all security-related incidents, observations, and daily activities through detailed reports.
• Policy Enforcement: Ensuring compliance with CIBC's security standards, policies, and procedures, as well as relevant legal and regulatory requirements.
• Liaison: Maintaining communication with internal stakeholders, management, and potentially law enforcement agencies if necessary.
• Customer Service: Interacting with employees, clients, and guests in a professional and helpful manner.

REQUIREMENTS :

• 1-2 years of experience working in a security sector.
• Must have a valid Ontario Security License.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must be eligible to work in Canada up to 40 hours a week.
• High school diploma or equivalent/GED or equivalent work experience.
• Familiarity with operating technology and wireless communication systems at client-specific sites.
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office
• First Aid and CPR
