Allied Universal is seeking Event Security - Downtown in Canada.
Position: Event Security - Downtown
Timings: Various
Days: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday
Payrate: $19.00/hr
Location: Near Trinity St. & Mill St.
Mon–Thurs: 6:00 AM – 10:00 PM Friday: 6:00 AM – 11:00 PM Saturday & Sunday: 10:00 AM – 11:00 PM Opening Night: 3:00 PM – 10:00 PM. Shifts are 6–7 hours long on average
Valid Security Guard License and First Aid/ CPR Certification required
Additional Requirements:

- Event or parking experience preferred
Physical Requirements:
- Walking long periods of time,
- Work outside in the elements,

QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:
- Be at least 18 years of age with high school diploma or equivalent
- Legally entitled to work in Canada
- Possess effective written and oral communication and interpersonal skills with ability to deal with all levels of personnel and the general public in a professional and effective manner
- Licensing requirements are subject to province and/or local laws and regulations and will be required prior to employment.
- As a condition of employment, employee must successfully complete a background check
- Display exceptional customer service and communication skills
- Have intermediate computer skills to operate innovative, wireless technology at client specific sites
- Ability to handle crisis situations at the client site, calmly and efficiently
- Able to:
- Work in various environments such as cold weather, rain/snow or heat
- Occasionally lift or carry up to 20 kilograms
- Climb stairs, ramps, or ladders occasionally during shift
- Stand or walk on various surfaces for long periods of time
Responsibilities
- Conduct regular patrols of the designated area to monitor and ensure the safety and security of the premises.
- Maintain detailed records of patrols, documenting incidents, irregularities, and any equipment malfunctions.
- Communicate effectively with residents, property management, contractors, and other property staff.
- Maintain a professional attitude towards training and security protocols, including emergency response and communications.
- Address and resolve resident complaints, ensuring total client satisfaction.
- Support property management with any additional tasks as required.
