Job Title: Security Systems Manager
Location: North York, ON
Pay-Rate: $28.00 to $30.50 per hour
Shift: Monday to Friday, 0800-1630
Description:
The Security Systems Manager, Canada (External), reports directly to the Manager, Security Systems North America. Primary focus of this role is ensuring all Security Systems, Security Hardware, and applications are operational, serviced, and tested as required by the business in the Canadian Region.
Job Responsibilities/Department Description:
This position is based in Toronto, Canada and is a member of the Security Systems and Technology Team. Primary work will include:
- Management of Security Service and equipment repair for all Canadian sites.
- Management and technical support of the Security Access Control Systems.
- Management of Security Systems Alarms.
- Canadian Security System installation and maintenance technical
- Security Project Management for new and on-going application and hardware projects.
- Support for North America-Security related applications within Canadian region.
- Develop collaborative relationships with Sanofi department heads to foster alignment, improve understanding, speed of delivery and productivity.
- Assist in the development and implementation of Standard Operating Procedures for staff.
- Assist in the development and implementation of application training for security staff
- Contribute to the development and implementation of security solutions throughout North America.
- Interact with end users and customers to determine user requirements and functional specifications as it relates to implementing new security applications and systems.
- Evaluate and monitor Security equipment to ensure all systems and hardware are operational and preventative maintenance is performed.
- Proactively review active alarm and system performances to ensure effectiveness
Principle Accountabilities;
The diverse nature of this position requires a high degree of technical knowledge. Additionally, the ability to evaluate data from multiple systems that are to be supported by the incumbent is critical in order to be able to provide management with effective solutions.
- Accountability for the quality and performance results of the systems in the production environment.
- Timely response to requests for support from Tier 1 with special attention for urgent issues.
- Utilize existing systems while monitoring technological changes and recommending technological enhancements as appropriate.

- Assist with Security Operations and procedures as it applies to Security Technology Solutions
Requirements:
Qualifications & Personal Skills: (below are examples of bullets to include)
- Five (5) years related experience or an BS/BA and Three (3) years related experience in security systems management program delivery in a challenging, fast-paced corporate environment, preferably for a large, multinational corporation.
- Analytical and strategic thinking skills required.
- Ability to successfully work on complex issues where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth knowledge of the company.
- Requires deep understanding of how their area of responsibility relates to other areas and the business overall.
- Strong interpersonnel skills and the ability to supervise and coordinate security vendor activities.
