Position: Security Guard (Scarborough)

Type: Full- Time

Shift: Continental - Swing shift / Rotation

Schedule:  20:00 - 08:00 Continental rotation

Pay - Rate: $23.00 to $25.00 per hour   

Overview:

Allied Universal is seeking professional and reliable Security Guard to join our team at a premier site in Scarborough. In this role, you’ll play a key part in maintaining a safe and welcoming environment for staff, clients, and visitors.

We’re looking for individuals who take pride in their professionalism, stay calm under pressure, and communicate effectively with people at all levels.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct regular patrols and inspections to ensure the safety and security of the premises.
• CCTV and Live monitoring experience preferred
• Communicate with stakeholders, including site management and security personnel, in a professional manner.
• Address and manage security incidents and emergency situations calmly and efficiently.
• Coordinating with other team leads to ensure seamless shift transitions and consistent security coverage.
• Perform regular patrols and site checks to maintain security standards.

Requirement:

• Must have a valid Ontario Security License.
• Must be eligible to work in Canada up to 40 hours a week.
• First Aid and CPR.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent/GED or equivalent work experience.
• Ability to operate technology and wireless communication systems at client-specific sites.
• Physically capable of standing or walking for long periods, climbing stairs, and occasionally lifting or carrying up to 20 kilograms.
