Allied Universal is seeking Security Professional in Mississauga, ON  

Title: Security Professional 

Location: Mississauga, ON 

Payrate: $23.00 to $30.00 per hour

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 07:00 to 15:00 (flexibility required)

Overview: 

Allied Universal is seeking an experienced Security Professional to join our security operations in Toronto, ON. This role is ideal for individuals with a minimum of 3 years of experience in security operations, particularly within surveillance, control rooms, or law enforcement settings. The successful candidate will demonstrate a high level of alertness, professionalism, and independence, along with strong communication and documentation skills.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who has received professional recognition or merit in the field of security, thrives in high-pressure environments, and is passionate about maintaining safety and operational integrity.

Responsibilities: 

• Monitor Access Control systems and CCTV surveillance platforms effectively.

• Respond to incidents, emergencies, or alarms with composure and sound judgment.

• Write detailed incident and shift reports, and maintain accurate site documentation.

• Communicate clearly with site management, staff, and fellow security personnel.

• Conduct routine patrols and inspections to uphold security standards.

• Support team coordination to ensure seamless operations across shift transitions.

• Utilize digital tools, surveillance software, and wireless communication systems proficiently.

Requirements: 

• Minimum 3 years of experience in security operations, preferably in surveillance or control room environments.

• Recognition or proven merit in the field of security or law enforcement is strongly preferred.

• Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.

• Strong report writing and documentation abilities.

• Proficient with computers, surveillance systems, and digital communication tools.

• Ability to work independently while maintaining high levels of alertness and professional conduct.

• Must have a valid Ontario Security License.

• Must be eligible to work in Canada and pass a comprehensive background check.

• Standard/Emergency First Aid and CPR certification.

• Must be eligible to work in Canada up to 40 hours a week. 

• Must be at least 18 years old. 

• Physically fit: able to stand/walk for long periods, climb stairs, and occasionally lift/carry up to 20 kg.
