Job Description

Allied Universal is Seeking Security Professionals in various locations in Oakville,ON .  

 

Job Title: Security Professional

Location: Oakville,ON 
Job Type: Full-Time 

Days : monday to Friday 0700 -1500 

Pay Rate : 23 $ per hour

 

 

Overview:

Allied Universal is currently hiring Security Professionals to provide professional, front-line security services for Manufacturing facility in Oakville, Ontario . This role is ideal for individuals with strong customer service skills, a professional demeanor, and a background in corporate security.

 

** G Driver's License & Access to own vehicle REQUIRED ***

***Must have 5 years residency in canda for Security Clearance Purpose***

 

Responsibilities: 

  • Present a polished, professional, customer-friendly image at all times 
  • Escort guards are required to escort contractors and guest through the facility. 
  • Incident response, patrols and inspections of space and equipment 
  • Liaise with the Corporate security program to compound incident response 
  • Record activities and incidents via security tours
  • Walk-safe program for employees working after hours 
  • Cross-training in other security positions as required (e.g. card holder administration assistance). 
  • Ability to manage conflicts and incidents and to de-escalate 
  • Ensure that the facility’s safety and emergency procedures are followed in response to fire alarms and other site emergencies 
  • Demonstrate good judgment, common sense, and decision-making ability, particularly when required to take charge and direct others in emergencies or other incidents 
  • Meticulous record keeping, report writing, observation skills excellent verbal and written communication skills 

 

Requirement:

  • Must have at least 1 year experience in a security field
  • Must be above 18 years of age
  • Must have a valid Ontario Security guard license
  • Must have a valid (full) provincial drivers license.
  • Must have a valid first aid CPR 
  • Ability to operate technology and wireless communication systems at client-specific sites.
  • Must be eligible to work in Canada up to 40 hours a week.
  • High school diploma or equivalent/GED or equivalent work experience
  • Physically capable of standing or walking for long periods, climbing stairs, and occasionally lifting or carrying up to 20 kilograms.
