Join the Front Line of Campus Safety

Allied Universal® is seeking a professional and alert Dispatcher to support a college campus security team in Calgary. Working from the security command centre, you'll coordinate field responses, monitor CCTV cameras, and serve as a central point of contact for safety-related communications.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor live CCTV footage for security incidents
• Dispatch security officers in response to calls, alarms, or suspicious activity
• Maintain radio and phone communication with field teams
• Log all incidents and calls for service accurately
• Support emergency protocols in coordination with campus and Allied leadership
• Maintain situational awareness across all active sites and systems

You’re a Great Fit If You Have:

✔️ Valid Alberta Security Licence
✔️ Current First Aid and CPR certification
✔️ Strong communication and multitasking skills
✔️ Comfort working with computer systems and surveillance equipment
✔️ Ability to remain calm under pressure and prioritize tasks
✔️ Reliability for a rotational 12-hour day shift schedule (including weekends)
✔️ Physical stamina for periods of standing or walking, as needed

Shift & Schedule

• Full-time | 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM | 6:00 PM – 6:00 AM
• 7-day rotational schedule (Monday through Sunday)
• Includes weekends and statutory holidays as assigned
