Job Description

Allied Universal is currently seeking for a Security Shift Supervisor in Mississauga, Ontario.

 

Job Type: Part Time

Location: Mississauga, ON

Job Title: Security Shift Lead

Schedule: Saturday 0000-0800 and Saturday 2000-0800

Pay Rate: $20.34/hr

 

Note: Must have resided in Canada for a minium 5 years to pass required clearances

 

Overview:

We are seeking a Security Shift Supervisor who demonstrates strong leadership, sound judgment, and a commitment to safety. The ideal candidate has excellent communication, customer service, and computer skills and is capable of performing in a fast-paced environment. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing security personnel during assigned shifts, ensuring the safety and security of the site, and maintaining compliance with company and client protocols.

 

 

Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and support on-site security staff during assigned shifts to ensure policies and procedures are followed.
  • CCTV and Live monitoring expereince preferred
  • Communicate with stakeholders, including site management and security personnel, in a professional manner.
  • Address and manage security incidents and emergency situations calmly and efficiently.
  • Coordinating with other Supervisor/ Manager to ensure seamless shift transitions and consistent security coverage.
  • Perform regular patrols and site checks to maintain security standards.
  • Demonstrate good judgment, common sense and decision-making ability, particularly when required to take charge and direct others 
  • Meticulous record keeping, report writing, observation skills excellent verbal and written communication skills

 

Requirement:

  • Must have a valid Ontario Security License.
  • Must be eligible to work in Canada up to 24 hours a week.
  • First Aid and CPR.
  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • Previous supervisory or team lead experience in a security or related role preferred.
  • Must be detail-oriented, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • High school diploma or equivalent/GED or equivalent work experience.
  • Ability to operate technology and wireless communication systems at client-specific sites.
  • Physically capable of standing or walking for long periods, climbing stairs, and occasionally lifting or carrying up to 40 kilograms.
