Allied Universal is seeking Professional Security Guards in Canada.  

Title: Lobby Ambassador   

Location: Ottawa,ON

Type: Full-time

Salary: 19.50 $ per hour

Shift: Full Availability Required

**Must have resided in Canada for a minimum of 5 years continuously**

Overview:

Allied Universal is currently looking for a Lobby Ambassador at one of our sites in Ottawa, ON. The property is close to Parliament Hill and includes a multi-level retail concourse, offices, an outdoor amphitheater, and an underground parking garage.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for acting as a representative of the property to greet people, provide directions, assistance, and exceptional customer service.
• Expectation to engage the public on a regular basis and maintain a calm, welcoming demeanor in all interactions.

• Conduct regular patrols of the designated area to monitor and ensure the safety and security of the premises.
• Maintain detailed records of patrols, documenting incidents, irregularities, and any equipment malfunctions.
• Communicate effectively with residents, property management, contractors, and other property staff.
• Maintain a professional attitude towards training and security protocols, including emergency response and communications.
• Address and resolve resident complaints, ensuring total client satisfaction.
• Support property management with any additional tasks as required.

Requirements:

• Valid Ontario Security Guard license
• Standard First Aid CPR Level C
• Ability to complete Use of Force training curriculum
• Crisis Management De-Escalation
• On-site and online training related to similar environments
• Legally entitled to work in Canada
• Concierge experience preferred
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English; ability to communicate clearly and effectively.
• Excellent prioritization skills and multi-tasking ability.
• High school diploma required.

Physical Requirements:

Work in various conditions, including outdoor environments with extreme weather such as cold, snow, rain, or heat; running will also be required.
