Allied Universal is seeking an experienced Security Guard to join our security operations team in Ottawa, ON. The ideal candidate will be a seasoned professional with excellent communication skills, a strong work ethic, and the ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

As a Security Guard, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our clients and properties through active patrolling and maintaining a high level of professionalism at all times.

Title:  Security Guard

Location: Ottawa

Pay rate: $21.50

Job Type: FPart-Time

Shift Hours: 08:00-20.00 or 20.00-08:00

Shift Type:  Sunday,Monday,tuesday,wednesday,Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain a safe and secure environment
• Access control of entryways and exit points using equipment at your disposal
• Facility patrol and enforcement of site regulations.
• Monitor security cameras and other surveillance equipment to detect and deter any suspicious or unauthorized activities.
• Enforce property regulations and city bi-laws on the client's site
• Patrol and monitor premises regularly to maintain order and establish presence
• Protect the client's assets relative to theft, assault, fire, and other safety issues
• Complete daily reports and incident reports
• Provide excellent customer service       
• Good adaptability

 Requirement:

• Valid Ontario Security Guard License (required)
• MAB/CMDE (required)
• Use of force (required)
• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• Proficiency in English is required
• standing lond periods of hours
• Valid first aid certification
• 1 year or more of security related experience
• Excellent customer service and resourcefulness 
• Good communication skills (written/oral)
