Allied Universal is seeking Professional Security Guards in Windsor, Ontario.  

Job Title: Security Guard 

Job Location: Windsor, ON

Job Type: Part-Time

Pay Rate: $ 18.39 per hour

Shifts: Rotational, weekends included (full availability is an asset)

Overview :

Allied Universal is seeking experienced Security guard to oversee security operations at our Canadian site in Windsor. 

Requirement:

• Familiarity with access control systems and alarm monitoring.
• Experience with report writing and note-taking.
• Knowledge of CCTV monitoring systems.
• Valid Ontario security guard license.
• Must be eligible to work in Canada over 20+ hours per week.
• First Aid and CPR
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent/GED or equivalent work experience

Specific Duties Performed and Essential Functions :

• Access control for the facility/area
• Present a polished, professional, customer friendly image at all times
• Ensure that the facility’s safety and emergency procedures are followed in response to fire alarms and other site Emergencies
• Undertake site specific training, follow direction and guidance from Site Supervisor or Manager
• Demonstrate good judgment, common sense and decision-making ability, particularly when required to take charge and direct others in emergencies or other incidents
• Meticulous record keeping, report writing, observation skills excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Operate/monitor security room equipment, Completion of site required training
• Vehicle Gate and Console duties
• On-the-Job training is required: ERT-Emergency Response Training initial training program
• This site has implemented a “Clean Shaven” policy for Personal Protective Equipment purposes.Stand or walk on various surfaces for long periods of time
