Temporary Full-Time Security Professionals
Location: Outskirts of Fort Saskatchewan
Salary: $20.56/hour
Duration: Approximately 3 months, starting near the end of April
Shift: 12-hour shifts, rotating schedule (full-time hours)

Overview:
We are looking for temporary Security Professionals to work at one of our industrial sites near Fort Saskatchewan. The ideal candidates are customer-focused, confident under pressure, and excellent communicators. If you can maintain composure in high-stress situations and have the necessary qualifications, we'd like to hear from you.

Requirement:

• Ability to handle high-pressure situations with composure.
• Reliable vehicle for transportation to the site.
• Flexible availability to work days, evenings, nights, and weekends.
• Fluency in English, with strong oral and written communication skills.
• Exceptional customer service skills.
• Intermediate computer skills for utilizing technology at client-specific sites.
• Prepared to work in various environments, including adverse weather conditions.
• Valid Alberta security guard license.
• Valid Class 5 (non-GDL) Driver’s License.
• Must be eligible to work in Canada over 40 hours per week.
• First Aid and CPR
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent/GED or equivalent work experience
• Ability to stand or walk for extended periods, occasionally climb stairs, and lift or carry up to 40 pounds.

Responsibilities:

• Check identification of staff entering the facility.
• Conduct foot patrols of buildings and surrounding areas.
• Monitor and report suspicious activities and persons.
• Prevent and detect thefts or vandalism.
• Write detailed incident reports and maintain daily logs.
• Enforce rules, regulations, policies, and procedures.
• Resolve conflicts calmly and effectively.
• Use radios and cell phones to communicate with team members.
• Follow emergency procedures and respond to alarms.
• Ensure safety and security protocols are upheld.
